Arctic Sauna Adventure is a unique mobile sauna experience operated by Arctic Cruise In Norway, departing from central Tromsø. Rather than a fixed location, this adventure takes you by electric vehicle to a breathtaking fjord setting surrounded by majestic mountains.
The Experience
The tour departs at 10:00 AM from Tromsø city centre in a stylish Mercedes (max 7 guests) or Tesla X (max 5 guests). After a scenic drive, you arrive at a pristine fjord where you participate in setting up the portable wood-fired sauna — it takes just 10 minutes to assemble and around 10–15 minutes to reach a soothing 60°C.
Once heated, the real magic begins: alternating between the warmth of the sauna and invigorating dips in the Arctic sea. The fjord setting, framed by snow-capped peaks, creates an unforgettable contrast between fire and ice.
The experience concludes with a visit to Bryggejentene, an enchanting waterfront haven with views of Ersfjord, where you can unwind with warm drinks.
