BKB Sauna is an unexpected gem at Møhlenpris in Bergen, born from Bergen Kaffebrenneri’s desire to provide warmth in the cold, wet Bergen climate. Established by the coffee roastery in 2023, the sauna combines the pleasure of a good sweat with the reward of freshly roasted coffee.
The sauna accommodates eight people and comes with a cold water tub, cold shower, toilet, and changing booths. Two towels and a bathing suit are provided, along with a bottle of water. You can choose between drop-in sessions shared with other guests or private bookings for exclusive use. Drop-in prices range from 159 to 210 kroner, while private sessions cost between 600 and 1,400 kroner.
The beach is only 100 meters away if you prefer a dip in the North Sea to the cold tub. The sauna is self-service and trust-based. After your session, head into the coffee bar for a freshly brewed cup. If you book the first morning slot, you are treated to a free batch brew. Swimwear is required, and food is not permitted inside the sauna.
