Heit Grimo is a sauna experience set along the shores of the Hardangerfjord in the small village of Grimo. Surrounded by dramatic mountain walls and calm fjord waters, the sauna offers a steaming retreat where guests can alternate between the heat of the sauna and the fresh chill of a fjord dip.
The location is truly spectacular, with panoramic views of the Sørfjorden arm of the Hardangerfjord. After warming up in the sauna, the fjord beckons with its clean, cool water, making for a classic Norwegian contrast bathing experience. The sauna accommodates up to 9 guests and uses electric heating.
Grimo is situated between Odda and Lofthus along the scenic Hardanger route. The area is known for its fruit orchards, waterfalls, and proximity to Folgefonna glacier, making it an ideal stop for those exploring the Hardanger region by car or bicycle.
