Voss Hostel Badstu is a wood-fired sauna tucked among apple trees on the shore of Lake Vangsvatnet at Voss Hostel. The sauna holds up to 10 people and is heated with real firewood, creating that authentic crackling warmth that electric saunas simply cannot replicate. After heating up, the lake is just steps away for a refreshing cool-down.
The hostel offers both private sauna bookings and drop-in sessions on Monday and Friday afternoons. Private sessions should be reserved at least one day in advance by phone or email. The setting is peaceful and scenic, with views across the lake toward the Gråsida mountain range.
Voss Hostel itself is an eco-friendly accommodation known for organic breakfasts and a relaxed atmosphere.
